The Clayton Center announces its 2022-23 series of concert and comedy shows featuring some of the finest musicians, singer-songwriters and comedians on tour today.
The historic auditorium located in downtown Clayton opens its 20th season with country and folk music legends and longtime friends Kathy Mattea and Suzy Bogguss on Friday, Oct. 14. The pair join forces to share their celebrated music and personal chemistry on stage in their new show, Together at Last.
Then, on Saturday, Nov. 19, audiences will be treated to a “very funny night out with the right kind of Karens." National headlining comedians Karen Mills and Karen Morgan deliver an evening of comedy filled with lots of laughter and zero toxic behavior. These two clever and clean comedians bring a different and hilarious point of view to the Karen craze.
In January the incomparable Paul Reiser takes the stage. From Mad About You and its recent reboot, standup comedy to starring in Stranger Things, Reiser is one of Hollywood’s most prolific talents—and he shows no signs of slowing down. This Hollywood star of movies and television is among the “Top 100 Comedians of All Time” named by Comedy Central.
Latin recording star Gina Chavez rounds out the initial schedule in spring 2023, performing on March 31. From features on NPR’s Tiny Desk to Brené Brown to Colbert, this talented, passionate musician has become a force to be reckoned with.
All shows in the concerts and comedy series begin at 8 pm. Flex priced tickets for these events are on sale now. Individual tickets to all events go on sale on Monday, Sept. 19, at noon.
