Conveniently located off U.S. Hwy 70 in downtown Clayton, The Clayton Center is an easy drive from the Triangle and points east of Johnston County. SEE MAP
From Raleigh and points west:
Take I-40 East to Raleigh and toward Wilmington. From I-40, merge onto US 70 Business East via Exit 306 toward Clayton/Smithfield/Goldsboro. Stay on 70-East for approx. 7 miles. Once you pass the Wal-Mart Shopping Center, go 3 more traffic signals. Turn Left at the third traffic signal onto Robertson Street (Rite Aid and Walgreens will be on the left at this intersection). Continue two blocks and take a right onto Second Street. The Clayton Center is 3 blocks on the right at the intersection of Second and Fayetteville Streets. SEE MAP
From points east of Clayton:
Take I-40 West to Exit 312. Turn right off the exit ramp onto Hwy 42 and continue approx. 6 miles into Clayton. After passing under the bridge (Hwy. 70) the road becomes Lombard Street. Turn left at the stoplight onto Second Street and continue for 3 blocks. The Clayton Center will be on your left. SEE MAP
From Highway 70 and Smithfield…
From Hwy 70 turn right at Main Street to enter into Downtown Clayton. Continue through the downtown area. Take a left onto Fayetteville Street and go one block. The Clayton Center will be on your left. SEE MAP
Parking
Limited parking is available in the lot adjoining the back of the facility. This lot offers handicapped spaces and is accessible from both Horne and Fayetteville Streets. Parking is also located in the Town Square at the corner of Second and Fayetteville Streets (diagonally across from The Clayton Center). Additional parking can be found along the streets surrounding The Clayton Center.
